I Needed That

I got into a bit of a funk today. I have eaten like crap all week, and not really done any exercise to speak of. Spent too much time in front of the computer working – I mean,  I *have* to work, but that doesn’t make me feel any better about it.

I so desperately need to get out and feel the fresh air and be revitalized. When my daughter and husband get home, we’re going to a local park with a lake, and going to just get outside and BE for a while. I can’t wait.

I need to exercise more, I need to eat better, I need to need to need to….so many things. But for now, I’m just looking forward to seeing my little girl, chasing her around and watching her play.

This picture of her dancing at my friend’s wedding the other week just makes me smile. And encourages me (more than anything else could) to pick myself up from this stupid chair and get out and DO something. I needed that!She dances WAY better than I ever will!

  1. Ahhhhh. I’ve felt awful today because it’s been so long since I’ve had a formal workout. Need to find something I like and want to stick to. Have fun at the park tonight, we are headed outdoors too!

  4. I spend so much time at my desk every workday, that I get lazy and don’t feel like getting up. Ever. I’m trying to make more of a conscious effort to get up more. Even if I work out when I get home, the constant sitting cannot be good. I hope your endeavor outdoors helped! By me this week, I will be avoiding the outdoors since we are having our first official heat wave. Ugh!
